The magic starts long before Wembley
Every season, hundreds of clubs enter the FA Cup and Women’s FA Cup.

Thousands of matches are played across England and Wales, but finding out where and when they are happening can be surprisingly difficult, particularly during the early rounds.

That is where My Road to Wembley began.

WE BELIEVE THE MAGIC OF THE FA CUP IS THIS:

-
It is found at clubs you have never heard of.
-
In towns you have never visited.
-
Standing beside people you have never met.
-
It is the excitement of choosing a fixture, arriving at a new ground and discovering a club and community that you might otherwise have missed.

CHALLENGES
Football is more fun when there is something to chase.
Our challenges give every match a purpose, whether you are attempting all 14 rounds of the FA Cup or simply looking for a reason to visit somewhere new.

Quattourdecim
The original My Road to Wembley challenge. Attend a match in all 14 rounds of the FA Cup during a single season, beginning with the Extra Preliminary Round and finishing at Wembley. Named after the Latin word for fourteen, Quattourdecim is the challenge that inspired the entire project. Fourteen rounds. Fourteen football experiences. One unforgettable journey. Over the years we have run RoundHopper final parties at Wembley for those that have completed the feat, thanks in large to tickets donated from the Football Association.

FAQ

How much does it cost to become a RoundHopper?
Nothing. My Road to Wembley is completely free. Create an account, choose a challenge and start exploring.
How do I prove I attended a match?
Simply check in through the app when you attend. Your match will be added to your journey and your challenge progress will be updated.
Do I need to follow the winner of each match?
No! Following the winning club into the next round is a popular traditional route, but it is not required. My Road to Wembley encourages you to create your own journey. You might follow a local side, choose the nearest match each round or travel somewhere you have always wanted to visit. The only requirement for Quattourdecim is that you attend one match in every round. There is no single road to Wembley.
I have already missed a few rounds. Can I still take part?
Absolutely. Completing Quattourdecim is only one part of being a RoundHopper. There are plenty of other challenges to take on, many of which may take several seasons to complete. You can join at any point and begin with your next available match. Every journey has to start somewhere.
How do I meet other RoundHoppers?
The community connects through social media, at matches and through gatherings organised during the competition. We also encourage clubs to create informal meeting points in their bars or close to the ground. Many clubs love welcoming visiting RoundHoppers and introducing them to their supporters. The early rounds are particularly friendly. You may be surprised by how quickly familiar faces begin appearing along the way.
What happens when I complete Quattourdecim?
Completing all 14 rounds is a significant achievement and something the entire community celebrates. Those who complete the challenge are invited to our final day gathering at Wembley, where RoundHoppers can meet, share their stories and celebrate the season together. Eligible RoundHoppers may also receive access to opportunities connected with the FA Cup Final, subject to availability and the rules of that season.
How are Wembley opportunities decided?
RoundHoppers earn points by attending matches throughout the competition. The earlier the round, the more points are available. This recognises those who support the competition and its clubs from the very beginning. Where Final tickets or other limited opportunities are available, the leaderboard helps determine priority among those who have completed all 14 rounds. Full criteria are published before each season.

EVERY MATCH. EVERY CLUB. EVERY ROAD TO WEMBLEY
About Us

My Road to Wembley was created by two brothers, Tom and Oscar.

The idea began with a simple question:

Where do you actually find these matches?

They wanted to explore the FA Cup from its earliest rounds, but discovering the fixtures, clubs and grounds was far harder than expected.
So they started building something that would make the competition easier to explore.

What began as one football challenge has grown into a community of supporters discovering clubs, meeting people and creating their own roads to Wembley.

Our mission is simple.

To help more people attend football matches.
To bring new supporters through the gates of local clubs.

Every match. Every club. Every road to Wembley.
